There are great studios located all over the city for you to record in, but especially in Brooklyn. Greenpoint has world-class studios for polished and huge sounds for yout to show the world. If you are looking for a smaller studio with all of the potential that you would find in a huge studio, look in Bed-Stuy.
Practice is an absolute must. You have to go in knowing your parts inside and out so you don’t have to waste time doing take after take. Practice recording by making demos. They do not have to be perfect or even great, but it is a good idea to map your songs out before you hit the studio. When you know your parts perfectly and have some good demos recorded, you will be able to share your vision more clearly and then you can work with the engineer to polish and make your songs better.

The waiting area of the studio had music history and the studio was great! The dynamic of the studio was really cool. The engineer Yulia was so nice and helped me lay down verses for my first time. She helped me adjust to the tone of the beat and gave me great feedback!!!! I would love to come back a 10/10!!!!
This is one of the best studio spaces in NY. I mean the space is huge and so beautiful. We were given an engineer with 20+ years of experience. He was so incredible I can't remember his name but man he was a pro! The rest of the staff was super kind and helpful which made booking very easy. Will definitely be back.
Chris is very professional and helped us so much during preparation and recording. He helped our guest on the set. He uploaded all files on our cloud storage very quickly after recording. We had an amazing experience at Podstream. We filmed 7 episodes of a podcast in 1-day and the set, the team, everything was perfect. We literally showed up, sat down and started recording. The team was very friendly and helpful and we would highly recommend to anyone and will be using it again when we are in NYC.
