Chelsea Loft Event Space is an Event Space in Contra Studios and a loft-style production area defined by an open, adaptable floorplate.

Design: The space has high ceilings, white-painted surfaces and wide-plank timber flooring that form a clean, practical backdrop. The layout is open and rectangular, providing clear sightlines and flexible staging zones.

Features: The space includes a PA system and speakers and permits own music or an external DJ. The space provides Wi‑Fi and air conditioning and is wheelchair accessible with accessible toilets. The space includes access to a central client lounge and kitchen area on the same private floor and has a professional lighting grid and rigging points suitable for photo and video production.

Ideal for: Production crews and creative teams; relaxed, work-focused shoots, rehearsals and collaborative sessions.

What sets it apart: Two full-height photographic cyclorama walls on a private floor provide uninterrupted white backdrops for shoots and presentations.

Kid's Party In Our Amazing Loft Space

Throw your child a very special birthday party in our 5,000 sqft Chelsea loft space just a few feet from the MTA 1 train and walking distance from Penn Station, PATH Train, and all major subway stops. Our event space is located in Chelsea's historic Flower District, 28th st btw 6th and 7th avenue. Our studio B serves as the kids play area while adults enjoy the main room.

Our package includes a 3 hour party with 90 min free setup time and 30 min break down time. There maybe a surge charge to cover additional staffers for parties over 50 people. An additional hours would cost $450 per hour.

Also includes a staff person to make sure the event goes smoothly.
