Sanctuary at The German Ev.-Luth. Church of St Paul
About this space
The Sanctuary is a Hall in The German Ev.-Luth. Church of St Paul and serves as the church's principal worship space, notable for its intact historic ecclesiastical architecture and period detailing.
Design: The interior features a high vaulted ceiling, pointed arches and tall stained-glass windows framing a carved wooden altar; stone-coloured walls and decorative tracery create a formal, vertical space.
Features: The space includes a PA system and speakers, on-site Wi‑Fi and air conditioning. Hosts may play their own music or bring a DJ subject to the venue's noise restrictions. The layout centres on a raised chancel and an open nave that provide a clear front area for performances or focal installations.
Ideal for: Religious or cultural communities and musical ensembles seeking a formal, seated setting and a reverent, polished presentation.
What sets it apart: The Sanctuary houses a traditional pipe organ and benefits from natural acoustics that support live music and choral performance.
What guests say: The sanctuary is warm and welcoming and displays clear historic character. The space conveys a friendly, community-centred atmosphere.
