About this space

Pier 36 is a clear-span sports and entertainment venue defined by an expansive, column-free event floor that accommodates configurable staging and large-scale exhibitions.

Design: The interior has an industrial, open-plan character with high exposed steel trusses, a flat concrete floor, wide sightlines and tall ceilings that accommodate extensive lighting and rigging.

Features: The venue provides robust in-house AV and overhead rigging, multiple large projection screens and a configurable stage area. The space includes commercial air conditioning, Wi‑Fi, a PA system, step-free guest access and wheelchair-accessible facilities, plus on-site event services.

Ideal for: Large groups seeking an adaptable, industrial-style hall for seated presentations, standing receptions or exhibitions that require strong AV infrastructure and clear sightlines.

What sets it apart: A 55,000 sq ft on-site parking lot that simplifies load-in logistics and supports concurrent large events.

What guests say: The venue is clean and well maintained, and staff and event organisers are professional and helpful; the space also includes an outdoor area and accessible, well-kept facilities.

Very poor communication

If anyone considers to book this venue, be warned of extra charges, if there is a large capacity, we had to pay extra $30k for carpet because they didn’t want to mess with their floor. That’s in addition to the 40k for the venue. Also the Union labor fees will run you almost additional 80-100k after scrambling to get a TPA permit, (this is NEEDED, or you cannot have your event. In the process of handling the issue, I was doomed, because they said I breached with the labor payment.
