If anyone considers to book this venue, be warned of extra charges, if there is a large capacity, we had to pay extra $30k for carpet because they didn’t want to mess with their floor. That’s in addition to the 40k for the venue. Also the Union labor fees will run you almost additional 80-100k after scrambling to get a TPA permit, (this is NEEDED, or you cannot have your event. In the process of handling the issue, I was doomed, because they said I breached with the labor payment.

Pier 36 is a 70,000 sq ft "state of the art” Sports and Entertainment facility located on South Street (off the FDR Drive). The facility has a 55,000 sq ft parking lot that can be utilized for parking, loading, or can be tented for additional space. The facility is equipped with a fully redundant multi-Gigabit network with an Aruba Wi-Fi system designed to accommodate thousands of simultaneous users.
The facility also has a 15,000 sq ft deck overlooking East River with views of downtown Manhattan, South Street Seaport, Manhattan/Brooklyn Bridges, and the Statue of Liberty.
