Safety, Security and Fire Safety
• The Facilities is a smoke free environment. Smoking is prohibited throughout Facilities,
including bathrooms, hallways, and outdoor terrace. Smoke includes fog machines,
vaping, candles or anything that can create particulate matter to set off a smoke
detector.
• No open flames permitted anywhere in Facilities, except for the three following situations:
(i) denatured and jellied alcohol (e.g., Sterno) when used as a chafing fuel for heating
chafing equipment, (ii) small table candles with flame entirely contained within glass
when used at seated tables in Facilities; and, small candles lit for a short period of time on
birthday or other type of celebratory cake. The prohibition on open flames includes use of
candles in table and floor candelabras.
• No cooking is permitted in catering pantry, outdoor terrace, or anywhere else in Facilities.
• Any heating devices or other electrical food prep appliances must be approved by the
Lessor. Lessee must provide specs of such items including the electrical requirements of
such items in order to approve their use during the Event. This includes proofing ovens,
induction burners, and toaster ovens. No heat lamps of any sort are permitted in
Facilities.
• Use of sparklers and fireworks are prohibited anywhere in Facilities, including outdoor
terrace.
• For fire safety reasons, hallways and areas of access/egress in Facilities must be kept
clear. Rental equipment and other items, including baby strollers and wheel chairs, cannot
be left in hallways.
• For Film Shoots or events where crew/staff/guests will be going in and out of the building
on a regular basis, Lessee must provide a guard or staff member dedicated to managing
the door, or pay for one of our guards to do so. This is not negotiable.
