The Event Room is a private event space in dadaLab that centres on immersive audiovisual performance, providing a technical, performance-ready setting for art and sound-led projects.
Design: The room has an industrial warehouse character: high ceilings, exposed roof trusses and a wide, uninterrupted floor that frames a raised performance area. The interior is minimal and visually focused on stage lighting and projections rather than decorative finishes.
Features: A built-in PA system and speaker stacks serve live acts and DJ sets, and hosts may play their own music or bring an external DJ. A clear dance area and a raised performance platform create a club-style layout. The room includes Wi‑Fi, air conditioning and natural daylight, and it has step-free access, wheelchair-accessible facilities and accessible toilets.
Ideal for: Creative collectives and audiovisual artists seeking an informal, performance-led standing reception or club-style set with technical support for sound and visuals.

- Age Restrictions:
Booking with any alcohol (served or BYOB) and any booking that is later than 11 pm (regardless of alcohol) must be booked by an individual who is at least 21 years of age at the time of the event. Additionally, the primary event organizer must also be over 21 if this is a separate person. Verification of your age may be requested.
- dadaLab has a zero-tolerance policy on underage drinking. If underage drinking takes place in the venue, your event will be immediately canceled and you will not receive a refund.
- If alcohol is being served, it must be done by an individual who is TABC certified. Proof of TABC certification may be requested by the venue.
- No smoking in the building. There are dedicated outdoor smoking areas. Guest will be charged a deep cleaning fee of $295 if any smoking takes place in the building.
- No glitter, confetti, or confetti-filled balloons are allowed. If glitter and/or confetti is left behind, the guest will be charged a $295 deep cleaning fee.
- Any tape used on the walls must be approved by management. The use of duct tape is not allowed on any surface. Guest will pay for all damages to walls caused by adhesives.
- All trash must be in trash cans or recycling bins before the end of the booking. All packages and boxes must be broken down before they are placed in the recycling. A service fee will be charged if any boxes or packaging are left not flattened and outside of recycling bins/trash cans.
- No drinking games such as beer pong, flip cup, etc.
- All decorations, party supplies, and catering supplies must be cleared out and taken with you by the end of the booking. This includes all packaging and boxes flattened and placed in recycling bins or taken with you.
- Guest is responsible for covering costs for any damages caused to the building or furniture during the rental.
- Outside catering is allowed.
- Pet-friendly (on leash).
- Parking in rear or side lot.

Yes, they should be able to hear, depending on how the system is configured. The venue can set up its audio and projection system, but clients may wish to bring an A/V technician to coordinate slides or Zoom integration; the venue has the required technology but does not typically set up Zoom conferences.
Yes, a bounce house has been used in the space, but it ultimately depends on the size. The ceiling height is 12ft to the rafters, but some lights and equipment hang lower in areas.
