The studio's equipment includes a KAWAI 6-foot grand piano, Nord Stage Eighty-Eight, and a selection of high-quality microphones such as the Neumann U87 and AKG 414.

The Smooth Spot is a professional recording studio in Midtown Manhattan. We offer microphones, a piano, keyboards, and more! The studio includes a variety of sound modules and an O2R digital recording console.
Additional services include video production for instructional, audition, testimonial, and music videos. Audio book recording and sheet music editing are also available. Clients can leave sessions with their work in various formats, such as .wav, .mp3, CD, or DVD. The studio is located at W. 45th Street, with free street parking.
