Rules of the space

Host rules

Weapons: No firearms, explosives, knives, or harmful objects. Violators will be removed, forfeiting their refund, and may be reported to law enforcement.

Substances: No illegal drugs except marijuana. Violators are removed immediately without a refund.

Smoking: No cigarettes or tobacco inside any location. Times Square, Bushwick, and Park Slope permit other smoking in the studio room. Williamsburg does not permit any smoking.

Respect: Treat all staff and guests with respect. Threats, harassment, or verbal abuse results in immediate removal without a refund.

Guests: Max guests per session — Park Slope: 6, Emerald Room: 5, all others: 4. Clients are responsible for their guests. Violations may result in the entire party being removed without a refund.

Lateness: Sessions start and end on time. If 50% of session time (or 2 hours, whichever is less) passes without attendance or contact, the session may be cancelled without a refund.

Payment: Due at session start. Accepted: cash, CashApp, Apple Pay, debit, or credit. Files are not released until payment is received in full.

Arrival: Text or call your engineer upon arrival — do not knock on other doors. No loitering in hallways or common areas. Stay in the studio with the door closed.

Building: Do not move or remove anything. Clean up after yourself. Any damage may result in removal without a refund.

Recording Consent: Attending a session implies consent to audio and video recording. Recordings will not be shared without client direction.

Belongings: Sound Studios is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

All guests must be aware of these rules. Violations may result in removal without a refund.
