About this space

Reflecting the ‘urban village’ feel of the leafy and tranquil Winchmore Hill area, this welcoming pub is all the more appealing during the summer months, with its delightful beer garden offering ample comfy seating, sheltered booths, barbecue facilities and patio heating for those days when the weather is a little more Britain than the Bahamas. A large open space, with a mixture of fixed and freestanding seating, we can make the area work for your needs. There is an awning that covers the area, but if it is too windy it will close by itself. This section of the garden also includes The Garage, a covered area with its own fridge and option to play your own music.

At the heart of the pretty suburb of Winchmore Hill, The Salisbury Arms is an esteemed North London pub, ahead of the game in providing the perfect setting for a truly memorable drinking and dining experience.

Whether it’s a relaxed lunch, sumptuous Sunday roast, family dinner or tasty brunch you’re looking for, we offer fresh and flavoursome home-cooked food, a diverse and explorative drinks menu, and the warmest of welcomes.

Retaining its original Victorian façade, The Salisbury Arms has been lovingly restored, blending sumptuous period features with upscale contemporary touches: exposed brick, wood paneling and statement lighting combine in the spacious bar area; there’s even some intriguing wall art to add a touch of quirkiness. The pub’s best-kept secret is its inviting beer garden - the perfect spot for al-fresco dining, lazy afternoons or a glass of something special on a sunny day, whilst indoors during those chillier months, the open fire is kept roaring.

Dog-friendly and fostering a relaxed and friendly village vibe, The Salisbury Arms holds the authenticity of a true British local close to its heart.
