Space features
Treetop Challenge is an Outdoor Space at Go Ape Alexandra Palace, a treetop high-ropes course that places elevated rope routes and panoramic park outlooks above the trees.
Design: The course uses timber posts, rope bridges and compact wooden platforms arranged among mature trees. The structures show a functional, exposed construction that keeps sightlines open and daylight strong.
Features: The course runs multiple routed challenges across varying heights, including zip lines, high-wire crossings and Tarzan-style swings. The course supplies harnesses and helmets, runs instructor-led safety briefings and manages bookings and staggered start times. The course also provides an organised arrival and waiting area for groups.
Ideal for: Active families and groups of friends seeking an energetic, movement-based outdoor activity that is social and hands-on.
What sets it apart: The course includes a 15-metre free-fall plummet platform that delivers a feet-first drop.
What guests say: The course has attentive, safety-focused staff who adjust routes and briefings for less confident participants. The course has an organised arrival process and a family-friendly layout that helps children feel relaxed and engaged.
