About this space

The Bowls Club is a seasonal open-air pop-up venue that stages festival-style social hospitality around a central event area, focused on relaxed, activity-led gatherings.

Design: The layout places colourful canopies, pop-up food stalls and bench seating around an open event area, with parasols and festooning creating a market-style arrangement and framed by surrounding architecture.

Features: The venue provides outdoor covered marquees, pop-up bars and street-food kiosks, plus a PA system and the option to supply your own DJ or playlist. The site supports live music and roaming entertainers and operates accessible, step-free entry and accessible toilets. The venue operates event staffing and wristband-based pre-paid drinks/food handling to streamline arrivals and service.

Ideal for: Corporate teams and social groups seeking a relaxed, social standing reception that encourages mingling and informal team activity.

What sets it apart: A playable set of professionally maintained lawn bowls greens is installed on-site, providing organised, game-led activity for guests.

What guests say: The venue is energetic and well organised, and the space encourages natural mixing among groups. The staff are attentive and event operations run smoothly.
