About this space
The downstairs space at Rise Climbing Centre is a one-of-a-kind setting for gatherings of all kinds with its distinctive climbing wall backdrop and generous floor space. (All events happen downstairs, and access to climbing facilities on both levels before your event can be arranged as well)
With capacity for events ranging from 30 to 130 people, our flexible pricing options vary based on the size of your event, making it affordable for any event. We can provide drinks from our well-stocked bar, including our famous frozen margaritas and other cocktails (we also have café food and snacks, and you're welcome to bring your own catering.)
Our venue is available for hire on Saturday and Sunday evenings until 11 pm, with the option to extend until 2 am on Saturday. You’re welcome to bring your own playlist with plug-and-play capability, or we can help you access talented DJs from our network. Our Yamaha PA system ensures high-quality sound for music, while our projector is ideal for visualisations or screenings.
The space features padded mats for relaxed, seated events, three comfortable sofas, and tables and chairs available upon request for a more formal setup. With free Wi-Fi and on-site toilets, it’s a practical and inviting venue for gatherings of all kinds. We can also help you decorate the space to match your event, making it truly yours for the occasion.
Prices
For events of up to 40 people, we have a minimum spend of £800
For events of 40-80 people,e we have a minimum spend of £1,200
For events of 81-130 people, we have a minimum spend of £1,500
If you and any guests want to climb before your event, the cost of climbing will contribute to your minimum spend (i.e. if you spend £105 on climbing for 6 people, the minimum spend for your event afterward will be £105 lower)
We are also open to negotiating a lower minimum spend if you prefer to pay an hourly fee instead. Please get in touch to discuss.
