About this space

Summer Terrace is a private outdoor terrace at The Laundry, defined by a raised, fenced patio furnished for al‑fresco dining.

Design: The terrace is an informal, paved courtyard framed by low railings and planted borders, arranged as small groups of bistro-style tables. The layout is open and sunlit, offering clear sightlines across the space.

Features: A PA system and fixed speakers supply on-site sound, and the venue permits own music and external DJs. Wi‑Fi is available for guests. A step-free guest entrance, wheelchair access and accessible toilets serve the terrace.

Ideal for: Small social groups seeking a relaxed, al‑fresco seated or standing gathering.

What sets it apart: A direct view across the terrace to The Laundry's restored Edwardian frontage provides a distinctive historic backdrop.

What guests say: The terrace provides a pleasant, sunlit outdoor setting and a relaxed atmosphere, and the service is frequently attentive and friendly.
