Humbug is an alternative Gothic performance and arts venue housed in converted railway arches and tunnels; its defining quality is immersive, theatrical staging.

Design: The interior is compact and theatrical, dressed with reclaimed timber panels, posters and prop-style fittings that create a set-like backdrop. The lighting is low and warm, using practical bulbs and focused spots to frame sightlines.
