About this space

The Garden is a semi-private outdoor space at Pacific Tavern featuring long timber picnic benches arranged for communal seating and a straightforward, informal layout.

Design: The garden pairs rough-sawn timber furniture, gravel underfoot and industrial accents with shade sails and festoon lighting, producing an open-air, informal look that separates seating into clear rows and covered sections.

Features: The space contains fixed timber picnic tables and a covered terrace that provides sheltered seating and a service point. The garden is fitted with mains Wi‑Fi, a PA system and speaker connections and permits an external DJ subject to the venue's noise restrictions. The area has step-free access and accessible toilets, and staff coordinate food and drink service from the adjacent tavern.

Ideal for: Groups of friends or mixed-age parties seeking a relaxed, social setting for casual seated or standing gatherings.

What sets it apart: An on-site outdoor kitchen prepares barbecue dishes visible from the seating area, allowing food to be served directly into the garden.

What guests say: The garden is cosy and intimate, with close lighting and a wood fire that keeps the space usable in colder weather. The space accommodates live music and lively activity while remaining comfortable and sociable.
