About this space

Studio 5 is good for large rehearsals, auditions, screenings, meetings, workshops and dance workshops.

Features – All our studios include black-out blinds, full air-conditioning, temperature control regulators, and LED lights with adjustable brightness.

This studio has a double-height ceiling to accommodate dance, circus work and aerial rigging.

Please note: this studio has a fixed pipe grid from which lanterns can be hung, the grid is not load rated for suspending more than lanterns and speakers, and there can be no scenic elements hung from the grid.

Sound – there are four active speakers which can be orientated from the sound patch bay in the room. In these studios, the sound system can be accessed using an aux input or phono input from a phone, tablet or laptop. For larger systems access to the system can be via the patch from a mixing desk.

An infrared-assisted listening system is available.

About Brixton House

Known as The House, the newly opened venue has a stunning architectural design enhanced with sustainable materials and welcoming warmth that is true to its surrounding community.

We have seven multi-purpose rehearsal studios and meeting/conference rooms. Our spaces for hire are all flexible, wheelchair accessible and perfect for rehearsals, events, conferences and meetings, filming locations, and celebrations, ranging from 20 up to 200 guests in our largest theatre space.

Our fully accessible studios are equipped to enable artists, community groups, young people and visiting companies to create, share and develop new work. All studios are designed to be multi-purpose, with full acoustic separation. We have spaces that are designed specifically for use by neurodiverse artists, participants, staff and community members.
