The River Rooms is the yacht clubs stand alone event venue. A blank canvas that allows you to put your personal touch to your event. Raised up from the boatyard with parquet flooring and floor to ceiling windows, this space boasts great river views and an abundance of natural daylight.

The River Rooms are comprised of the main hall, the lounge bar and the outdoor terrace. With an inbuilt bar, event kitchen and toilets all on the same level, the rooms have all the facilities that you need for any event. Our space is perfect for weddings and parties as well as awards dinners and team building days.

The venue also has a surrounding balcony and you can put barbecues and marquees on the outdoor deck.

The package per person price is for Conferences, minimum of 30 people. It includes:

We are delighted to introduce you to The Greenwich Yacht Club.

GYC is London’s hidden riverside gem located next to the O2. The Club has 2 stunning event spaces available for hire throughout the year for 20 to 200 guests making it the perfect venue for meetings, conferences, and corporate lunches.

POSSIBLE EXTRAS
• Ceremony only - £900 for 3 hour hire – weekdays only
• Hire the venue for 6 hours the day before for set up - £800 supplement
• Hire both venues - £900 supplement
• Hire the river rooms for your ceremony and dining and then move over to the clubhouse for the evening reception

The initial process was nice and easy, Will the manager was very willing to work with us so that we felt totally comfortable about booking the venue. the value for money was great. The view was great. The ability to get a late licence was great

bar only had one till so slowed things down a bit but the bar staff seemed to handle it well

About Greenwich Yacht Club

Greenwich Yacht Club truly is one of London’s hidden gems. Nestled between the O2 Arena and The Thames Barrier with a neighbouring ecology park you can feel miles from London and be only 3 stops from London bridge station.

The club boasts 2 starkly different venues. The River Rooms is their stand alone event venue and hosts weddings and parties throughout the year. With an abundance of natural daylight, the river views and large outdoor decking mean that summer parties are particularly popular. However, we feel the venue really comes to life when the sun goes down and the twinkling lights of the river increase and London’s Skyline lights up.

The Clubhouse is the only venue built “in” the Thames, raised on stilts with a bridge leading to a 2 story glass house. Views that rival anywhere in London make this not the usual stuffy members club but an oasis from which to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. It's for this reason that it is so popular for off site team meetings and conferences. Parties can be held on Friday nights, but weekends are for members only.
