The perfect antidote to the busy surrounding streets! The Elixir Room – a cosy secluded backroom in The Apothecary – features a separate entrance and bathrooms exclusively for private events, a well-stocked drinks bar and three large booths for extra comfort. Perfect for intimate gatherings, this utterly unique space is walled in by wooden apothecary cabinets, separating your party from the rest of the venue. A secret door within this cabinet wall also gives guests the option to open up and merge with the atmosphere of the adjoining main room.

Yes, clients can bring their own DJ; they would need to bring their own CDJs, which can then connect to the venue's sound system.

Yes, a microphone is available and set up for arrival.

Yes, all the tables and chairs are removed. Please see the attached picture.

No, unfortunately, we don’t have an image of that set-up.

The room can be as loud or as low as required, with the volume amended using an IPAD to suit each event. You do not hear the main room.
