About this space

The Terrace @ Covent Garden is a private outdoor space in Cabana @ St Giles defined by its open-air frontage onto a pedestrian plaza and a casual al fresco dining layout.

Design: The terrace presents a contemporary, utilitarian look of wooden tabletops, mixed metal seating and concrete paving beneath a slim metal-and-glass canopy. The setting is framed by tall modern façades and large planters that provide visual separation from the surrounding plaza.

Features: The terrace provides movable tables and mixed seating that can be arranged for seated dining or standing drinks. The space receives direct service from the restaurant for cocktails and charcoal-grilled dishes and includes on-site Wi‑Fi, step-free access and accessible toilets. The area benefits from natural daylight and planted screens that create discreet separation from the pedestrian thoroughfare.

Ideal for: Small groups seeking informal outdoor dining or a relaxed standing reception where conversation is the focus.

What guests say: The terrace is colourful and lively while remaining comfortable for conversation. The terrace maintains a moderate sound level that keeps music present without overwhelming conversation.

Everything! Venue was excellent, food was delicious and staff very accommodating.

The area allocated to us was rather a bit small which meant that we sometimes encroached in the space for the other guests. Additionally, due to other parties, accessing the accessible toilet was challenging.
