About this space

The Ballroom is our largest space which with its views over the river, wooden floorboards and tall windows make it a popular venue for wedding receptions, dinner dances, formal dinners and buffets.

The Ballroom has also been used as an art gallery, film rehearsal studio, product launch venue and has hosted numerous lectures, film screenings and on one occasion a performance of Morris dancing.

We had the most incredible experience at Linden House, and it was all thanks to the amazing Tara and the entire team. Tara is absolutely brilliant—she guided us through every little step with thoughtfulness, patience, and care. There were moments when it felt like the world was against us, but with Tara in our corner, we always found a way forward. Her calm confidence and problem-solving instincts made all the difference. The entire Linden House team went above and beyond to make our wedding feel effortless. They welcomed all of our little requests with warmth and enthusiasm, and turned every detail into something joyful and meaningful. We couldn't have asked for a more supportive, kind, and capable team. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

This was a memorable and magical evening to say the least. The staff on duty were so amazing, so friendly and prepared for us girls all dressed in pink! I had the best hen do a girl could ask for! Thank you so much for making it so special.
Sadly so many dropped out on the day due to illness the food was wasted- but it was delicious also!
