Booked the Constabulary room for a surprise poker evening for my brother and everything was fantastic! The staff were great pre event and during, making everything super easy and welcoming. Food was great as was service. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a private room in a great pub. Roof top terrace space is also class and isn’t really advertised so that was a great surprise to have pints in the sun up there pre poker. Thanks for having us!

Can't say enough of good things about the Bow Street Tavern. Our team was travelling to Britain and I needed to organize an event for them from Canada where we are based. The Bow Street Tavern staff (hello Phoebe!) were exceptional, gracious and accommodating. The food was great and the atmosphere was casual but intimate. Bow Street responded to all my enquiries and delivered on everything. They totally deserve your patronage!

Everything was perfect. Nothing to dislike.

Their communication was perfect. The day was planned perfectly. They're the only pub that didn't require a massive spend or deposit and that's so appreciated. Everything was great. On the day, the kitchen & all the staff took everything we threw at them in stride and it was such a lovely afternoon.

Nothing. Truly the whole team was amazing.

Engagement Party · 7 guests · April 2024

The room is exactly as depicted, the location is great and overall the vibe of the pub is fun.

The service was non existent. I booked this venue in advanced with very clear instructions on when my guests were going to arrive and when my fiance and I were to guarantee a successful surprise. The room still had bags of trash in it when they got there + there was a staff member eating in the room. They do not provide a server for dinner… you must go down to the ground floor from the 3rd to order everything and they do not check on you throughout the night. We were running down constantly to bring up rounds of drinks. I really wanted to like this venue and ultimately had a lovely engagement party with friends but am very dissatisfied with the overall service and experience. For such a special occasion of mine I at least expected a server to come take my order and keep my guests topped off. What else did I pay for?
