The Retro Room at CTRL STUDIOS CLAPTON
About this space
Step into The Retro Room - a fully styled podcast, video and content set at CTRL Studios, The Tram Depot in Clapton, Hackney.
Designed around a warm 1970s-inspired aesthetic, The Retro Room combines original exposed brickwork with mustard lounge chairs, vintage televisions, record players, retro furniture, plants and carefully selected practical lighting to create a distinctive backdrop that looks great on camera.
The set is ideal for video podcasts, interviews, panel conversations, YouTube shows, branded content, social media, photography, music content and filmed productions looking for something more characterful than a traditional studio backdrop.
The Retro Room can be configured around your production, with professional cameras, microphones, lighting and recording equipment available. CTRL’s on-site production team can also support your session, helping you get set up and ready to record.
The set sits within CTRL Studios at The Tram Depot, Clapton, Hackney, alongside our Infinity Cove and other creative spaces, giving productions access to a versatile East London filming location.
Whether you're recording a new podcast, shooting a campaign or creating your next series, arrive with the idea and we'll help take care of the production.
Record. Seriously.
