About this space

Built on the legendary foundations of Gigalum, the iconic South London institution famous for its sun-drenched Ibiza terrace raves and epic Sunday sessions that hosted global titans like Basement Jaxx, Roger Sanchez, Faithless, and Judge Jules, The Nel builds directly on that vibrant musical heritage.

Located across the road from Clapham South station, the bar effortlessly bridges the gap between a relaxed daytime hangout and a high-energy evening party space.

Inside, the open layout easily shifts from casual socialising to full-blown raves and private parties, keeping the spirit of those legendary headline sets alive. Boasting a house PA system, you can bring your own DJ and spin your own custom playlist late into the night.

The seamless flow carries you straight out to our vibrant front terrace, which is fully covered and heated so the good times can roll whatever the weather. Complete with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and step-free wheelchair access, we have got everything covered to host your next event in true South London style.
