About this space
Studio 1 is a purpose-built sound stage in Battersea Studios, Nine Elms: 15.3m × 12.2m (2,000 sq ft) with 4.75m to a production-grade lighting grid, sound-treated and fully air-conditioned. Vehicles drive directly onto the stage floor, so load-in is fast and low-disruption. Two green rooms and two dressing rooms sit alongside, with make-up rooms, equipment stores, a café and production offices in the same building. Suits commercials, HETV inserts and pick-ups, set builds, rehearsals and controlled interiors. Crew and kit hire, catering and set build support can be added to any booking. Queenstown Road station is 8 minutes on foot (Waterloo in 8 minutes from there); Battersea Park works as a unit base 15 minutes away.

Host rules
Set-up and pack-down happen within your booked hours, so book the time you'll actually occupy the space. Overtime is available, but agree it with us before the day runs on.
Load in and out through the loading bay, not the main reception. Kit, sets and cases stay out of shared corridors.
Driving onto the stage to load is part of the space (Studio 1). Vehicles staying on set for filming just need advance notice, so we can sort floor protection and fuel arrangements.
Leave the space as you found it. A cleaning fee applies if it needs more than a standard clean and reset, and damage is charged at cost.
No smoking or vaping anywhere in the building. Glitter, confetti, paint, smoke, haze, flames, special effects and animals all need agreeing with us first.
Playback on the stage is fine. Keep levels reasonable in shared areas, as the building holds working offices.
Outside catering is welcome; the on-site café can also feed your crew.
Keep to the guest numbers on your booking. Children on set need a responsible adult who isn't on the crew.
Filming is fine everywhere you've booked; shooting in communal areas needs approval.
Productions should carry public liability insurance; we may ask to see the certificate for larger bookings.
