The ground-floor space combines the atmosphere of an established grassroots music venue with the flexibility of a creative studio and event space. With an approximately 200-person standing capacity, dedicated stage, bar, dancefloor, projector, A/V equipment and flexible open floor, the room can be completely reimagined depending on what you are creating.
By night, The Jago comes into its own as a live music and party venue — ideal for gigs, club nights, DJ events, artist showcases, album launches, birthdays, private parties, celebrations and ticketed events.
The open layout and distinctive interiors make it a strong choice for filming, music videos, photography shoots, interviews, content creation, live session recordings, podcasts, rehearsals, auditions, castings and production days. The stage and projector also make the venue suitable for film screenings, talks, panel discussions, presentations, workshops, training sessions and creative meetings.

Host rules
* No smoking or vaping inside the venue. Please use the designated outdoor areas.
* No confetti, glitter, candles, naked flames or pyrotechnics.
* Guests must not bring their own alcohol onto the premises.
* External food and catering are permitted only when agreed in advance.
* DJs, performers and musical instruments are welcome, but all technical requirements must be agreed before the booking.
* The venue’s installed sound system must be used unless alternative equipment has been approved in advance.
* Music levels must remain within the venue’s licensed and agreed sound limits.
* Decorations are permitted, but nothing may be fixed to walls, ceilings, furniture or equipment in a way that causes damage.
* All decorations, equipment and personal belongings must be removed at the end of the booking.
* Any damage to the venue, furniture, fixtures, technical equipment or surrounding areas may result in additional charges.
* Access to areas outside the booked space is not permitted unless agreed with the venue team.
* Children and guests under 18 must be supervised by a responsible adult and may be subject to additional restrictions depending on the event and licensed hours.
* Security requirements will depend on the nature, capacity and finish time of the event and must be agreed in advance where applicable.
* The maximum agreed capacity must not be exceeded.
* Fire exits, stairways and access routes must remain clear at all times.
* Please respect our neighbours when arriving, leaving or using outdoor areas.
* All events must finish within the agreed booking and licensed hours.
* The organiser is responsible for the behaviour of their guests, suppliers and contractors while on site.
