3. Intellectual Property

• Clients retain ownership of their original content and recordings.

The First Studio retains ownership of:
• Branding
• Website content
• Studio designs
• Internal systems and processes

Unless otherwise agreed, The First Studio may request permission to use selected content for promotional and marketing purposes.

4. Conduct

• Clients must behave respectfully towards staff, guests, and other studio users.
• The First Studio reserves the right to refuse service where behaviour is abusive, disruptive, discriminatory, threatening, or unsafe.

5. Liability

The First Studio shall not be liable for:
• Loss of earnings
• Indirect losses
• Technical failures beyond reasonable control
• Personal property left on the premises

6. Health & Safety

• Clients must follow all safety instructions and comply with relevant health and safety requirements while using the premises.

7. Memberships

• Membership benefits are non-transferable and subject to availability.
• Unused membership hours may expire at the end of the membership period unless otherwise agreed.

8. Force Majeure

The First Studio shall not be liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, power failures, internet outages, strikes, or government restrictions.

9. Amendments

The First Studio reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published on the website.

Recorded at The First Studio it was seamless from start to finish. Really easy to find, walkable from both Bethnal Green and Cambridge Heath stations, so well worth the trip even if you're coming from further across London. Gear was top notch, including an amazing state of the art AI camera system that most studios simply don't have. Everything was set up and ready to go, so we could just get on with recording without any faffing about. Sound quality was excellent throughout. Shez, the owner, was really accommodating and great at communicating throughout, both before and during the session, which made the whole experience feel effortless. The whole process was easy and straightforward, no technical hiccups, which meant we could focus on the conversation rather than the setup. Highly recommend, whether you're local to Hackney or coming from elsewhere in London, this is a studio worth seeking out.
The space is fairly cosy in person, but somehow looks much larger on screen once you're recording, well laid out and comfortable, clearly designed with podcasters in mind rather than being an afterthought to a music studio.
