About this space
The 93 m² Main Shrine Room is the focal point of our centre, offering a distinctive setting for professional, creative and wellbeing events. Located at the rear of the centre, the room provides a quiet environment away from the pace of the city, making it well suited to focused discussions, learning and group activities.
Natural daylight enters through overhead skylights, and the space includes underfloor heating, fresh-air ventilation and an open layout that works well year-round. Tibetan Buddhist artwork adds character to the room, offering something different from a typical meeting or conference venue.
The main meditation room is used for conferences, leadership retreats, team away days, strategy sessions, workshops, seminars, training programmes, board meetings, coaching sessions, staff wellbeing events, lectures, performances and community gatherings. The room can be set up in theatre, classroom, cabaret or open layouts to suit different event formats.
The space can accommodate up to 275 standing guests or 200 seated guests. Venue hire includes access to chairs, tables, meditation cushions and mats, complimentary Wi-Fi, a reception area, the Tara Tea Room for refreshments and networking, a catering kitchen, toilet facilities and additional breakout areas. Exclusive hire of the venue is also available for larger events.
We are located on Caledonian Road, around a 15-minute walk from King's Cross St Pancras and 10 minutes from Caledonian Road Underground Station, offering excellent transport connections alongside a peaceful setting in Central London.
