About this space
arvo is a design-led sauna and cold plunge bathhouse on a quiet residential street in Walthamstow, East London. Converted from a former restaurant, the space has been fitted out with two custom timber-lined Finnish saunas (one social, one silent), three cold plunge baths at 10°C, 7°C and 5°C, rinse showers, changing rooms with lockers, and a welcoming reception lounge with seating and filtered tea.
Available for exclusive hire, arvo is well suited to corporate wellness days, team away-days, birthday celebrations, hen parties, brand activations, creative shoots, and private group socials.
Saunas run at 80–90°C and seat up to 10 guests each. The space holds up to 20 guests comfortably for a full contrast therapy session.
Located a short walk from both Walthamstow Central (Victoria line) and Wood Street (Overground) stations, arvo is easy to reach from across London. Street parking is available nearby.

Swimwear or bathers must be worn at all times in the sauna and plunge areas

No smoking or vaping anywhere on the premises
Please shower before entering the saunas or plunge baths
Guests with certain medical conditions (heart conditions, pregnancy, high blood pressure) should consult a doctor before using the facilities
Any damage to the space, equipment, or fixtures will result in an additional charge
The space must be vacated promptly at the agreed end time, overtime may be charged
Arvo reserves the right to refuse entry or end a session if guests are behaving in a way that is unsafe or disrespectful to the space
No photography or filming of other guests without their consent
