Everything! I honestly couldn’t fault it. The staff who helped with planning beforehand were responsive and accommodating of the inevitable changes to the plan over time. The staff on the day were exceptional - friendly and warm and incredibly efficient. They had that magic balance of being there if you needed them, but blending in and getting on with things in the background. The food was unbelievably delicious - we had never eaten here before we booked it for our wedding so it felt like a bit of a gamble! The menu looked great though, so we decided to take our chances and it really paid off! We got great feedback from all the guests about the food - some even asked for the recipes!! The room was set up perfectly for the occasion and the lighting and atmosphere were intimate and relaxing. We were able to stream our own music too. The staff helped with timing on the day and were great at adapting to our slightly late timings, asked how we would like things to be done (for example, did we want a ‘moment’ cutting the cake or to just serve).
There really wasn’t anything I would change! I would definitely use Pique in the future and would highly recommend it for hosting an event.
