About this space

The Study is a private event space in The Leather Bottle and a compact, wood‑panelled lounge defined by an enclosed, traditional character.

Design: The room is compact and narrow with a low ceiling, polished floorboards and framed artwork that give it a traditional club-room look. The lighting is layered through wall and table lamps which keep sightlines low.

Features: The space contains clusters of low tables and upholstered armchairs arranged for lounge-style seating and private conversation. The space includes in-room Wi‑Fi and allows guests to play their own music, and the layout can be closed off from the main bar for privacy.

Ideal for: Small groups seeking a relaxed, seated lounge for private conversation and informal drinks.

What sets it apart: A restored floor‑to‑ceiling bookcase anchors one end of the room and provides a clear library-style focal point.

What guests say: The space presents a traditional interior and tends to be lively during busy periods.
