About this space

Sarastro is a theatrical Mediterranean restaurant whose defining quality is its opera-house–inspired interiors.

Design: The interior is ornate and layered, combining heavy gold drapery, richly coloured velvets and eclectic theatrical props. The lighting is low and warm, punctuated by stained-glass pendant lamps and mirrors that compress the space into intimate niches.

Features: The venue can programme live entertainment from an in-house roster of artists and adjust a performance schedule to the event. The venue provides a flexible seating plan, an on-site kitchen serving Mediterranean and Turkish dishes, and a full bar offering wine and cocktails. The front-of-house team arranges seating layouts and special requests for private functions.

Ideal for: Groups seeking a sociable, music-led evening that centres on seated dining.

What sets it apart: Stepped balconies and partly enclosed private boxes recreate theatre-style seating and provide elevated, semi-private views across the dining floor.

What guests say: The space is theatrical and characterised by drapery, eclectic props and cosy seating. The service is friendly and attentive and the food is generally described as good quality.
