A 66 m² industrial-style room in South Melbourne that switches between a private cinema, a photo and video studio and a workshop space. Polished concrete floors, white walls, tall exposed ceilings and natural light from the end window make a clean backdrop for shoots by day, and the 200-inch screen takes over for screenings at night.
Private cinema
A built-in 200-inch screen with a BenQ laser projector and 7.1 Dolby surround sound, including two ceiling Atmos speakers. Stream from Netflix, Disney+ or Prime, or plug in by HDMI, USB or AirPlay. Seats up to 30 theatre-style, and a queen sofa bed folds out for a couples' cinema night.
Photo and video studio
Godox strobes, large softboxes, a paper backdrop system, full-length mirror, wardrobe rack, makeup station and bar stools, ready for fashion editorials, model portfolios, lookbooks, e-commerce and content creation.
Workshops and presentations
Use the screen and sound system for presentations, training, workshops and panel discussions. Seats up to 30 theatre-style or classroom-style. A separate office and kitchenette zone works as a breakout area.

Facilities

Level 3 with lift access at 87 Gladstone Street, two minutes' walk from South Melbourne Market and Coventry Street. Trams 12 (York St/Clarendon St) and 96 (City Rd/Light Rail) stop within three minutes, and one on-site car park is included.

Host rules
• The space is for film screenings, workshops, presentations and photo or video shoots. Parties are not permitted.
• Maximum 30 guests.
• No smoking anywhere in the building.
• BYO food and drinks are welcome.
• Sound
• The studio shares the building with working offices, so volume must stay low on weekdays between 9am and 5pm. Film screenings and louder sessions are best booked for evenings and weekends.
• No glitter, confetti or helium balloons, as they interfere with the projector and ceiling sensors.
• Handle the photo and AV equipment with care and return all gear to its original position.
• No pets without prior approval.
• Children must be supervised at all times.
• Please leave the space as you found it. Any damage to the space or equipment will be charged.
