Rules of the space

Host rules

- The Anderson Room, Bermuda Room, and Members Lounge are non-smoking areas. Smoking is permitted only on the outdoor terrace.
- Clients are financially responsible for any damage caused to the premises or equipment. Decorations are welcome, however adhesives such as sticky tape, glue, or masking tape must not be used on walls, windows, or ceilings. Confetti, scatters, and smoke machines are not permitted. If professional cleaning is required (e.g. for carpet stains), a cleaning fee will apply.
- Churchill-Waverley Golf & Bowls Club accepts no responsibility for damage, loss, or theft of personal property before, during, or after an event. Corporate and trade day clients are expected to arrange their own insurance and/or security and communicate these requirements to their guests in advance.
- No external food or beverages are permitted without prior approval from Management. Exceptions include a celebration cake, cupcakes, chips, or pretzels. All other food and beverage must be supplied and served by Churchill-Waverley Golf & Bowls Club in accordance with licensing requirements.
- All entertainment arrangements must be advised to and approved by Management in advance.
- Any external play equipment such as jumping castles, soft play setups, or inflatables must be approved by Management prior to the event. All external suppliers are required to provide a current Public Liability Insurance certificate before setup will be permitted on site.
- Clients are welcome to bring packaged chips for tables (please supply bowls). No other external food or beverages are permitted.
- Certain events (e.g. 21st birthdays) may require security at Management’s discretion. Please contact the Event Coordinator for details.
- Clients may provide a hard-lolly buffet to accompany cake or cupcakes. Please bring your own paper plates and serviettes. Discuss setup options with the Event Coordinator.
