Sitting on the 5th floor of Trainscendence, Trainscendental Lounge is a rooftop retreat unlike any other. Drink in the magnificent view of the Melbourne skyline while flowing to the rhythms of creativity from inside a suspended Hitachi-style train carriage high above the city.
The venue somehow manages to combine a vintage atmosphere with whimsical modern touches...think plush antique lounge chairs, brightly coloured walls, and odd knick-knacks scattered throughout. Set the ambiance with the in-carriage jukebox (are you ready to get in control of the mood?), then move the party to the bar.
And when the mood strikes to go full steam ahead, both rooftop trains can be hired, turning the entire rooftop platform into a playground for connection, celebration, or creation.

No smoking or vaping is permitted inside the building or near entrances.
Outside catering is allowed — please coordinate timing and access with our team in advance.
Alcohol may be served only with prior approval and in accordance with RSA requirements. No alcohol service is permitted after 8:00 PM unless otherwise agreed.
No open flames, incense, or smoke machines unless pre-approved and risk-assessed by our team.
All music and amplified sound must be kept within reasonable levels and cease by 12:00 AM, unless otherwise arranged.
Decorations must not be affixed to walls or ceilings with tape, nails, or any materials that may damage surfaces.
No glitter, confetti, or loose powders are to be used inside the venue.
Respect the space and equipment — any damage or excessive mess may incur additional charges.
Children under 16 must be supervised at all times.
Venue access is limited to the rooms and time booked — early entry or overtime may incur additional charges.

Located right in the heart of Collingwood, Trainscendence is literally a 10-floor jungle gym for the spiritually creative, meant to connect, create, and consciously collaborate. If you are out to set an offsite event, immersive workshop, product launch, private wellness experience, or a truly spirited team-building event, Trainscendence is where an extremely uncommon ambience marries the industrial character with artistic soul.
Each room is playfully themed by colour and mode of transport to spark curiosity and inspire childlike wonder. Start your ascent at Platform Infinity, a fiery red train station-themed café on the ground floor, and go all the way up through a series of immersive spaces... ending in Collingwood's most one-of-a-kind rooftop, featuring two iconic Hitachi train carriages and a stunning view of the city.
