Our warehouse space can be hired for film and photography shoots, exhibitions, workshops and more!

Bighouse Arts’ warehouse space is a huge, light filled industrial beauty, measuring in at 19m x 16m. Featuring three walls of painted white brick, and one wall of 6m drop black wool theatre curtains, the space is versatile for different set-ups. There are x2 bathrooms, a small kitchenette, roller door access, drive in vehicle access, 15 amp power, 3 phase power, Bluetooth Speaker, Clothing rack, makeup area, courtyard, onsite parking and much more.

Myself and my dance partner hired this for a full day. We are from Sydney so coming to Melbourne and filming a dance video was a bit anxiety inducing but thank goodness for the Bighouse Arts team, as they were absolutely easy to work with and super helpful. The venue was the perfect fit for the aesthetic we were going for but I do think this is an extremely versatile venue if you are wanting to film content. We are grateful to have been able to shoot our video here as it was such a seamless and efficient process. Big love to Eileen and Camille for assisting us during our little journey :).

Eileen the venue manager was lovely. We really enjoyed using the coloured backdrops. It was good that there was ample parking. Good value when split between a bigger group.
We feel we got a bit catfished by the photos. The space was not nearly as big or light as the photos indicated with most of the exposed white brick walls that we booked for being covered up by heavy black curtains (which blocked off what seemed to be construction materials). Having only one big shoot space made it difficult as we were all separate creatives sharing.
