About this space
Ideal for cocktail parties of up to 100 guests, The Burke Bar comes equipped with a
private, a fully stocked bar, a large dancefloor, a great sound, and lighting system (DJ compatible), projector and plasma TVs, a lounge area, and pool tables ($1 per game).
Our function room is bookable for a 5-hour event duration. Popular time slots are 7pm - 12am, 7:30pm - 12:30am or 8pm - 1am. For additional hours, please speak to our Function Manager.
Beverage options:
BAR TAB - A bar tab can be set up at the beginning of your function with a specified limit. This can be revised as your function progresses and increased if need be. We suggest selecting a range of our beers on tap and a sparkling, red & white wine. Basic spirits are also a popular inclusion.
CASH BAR - With a fully stocked bar and beers on tap, your guests will be able to select from a long list of drinks that are available for purchase at bar prices throughout your function.
Entertainment and decorations:
The Palace Hotel can assist with the organization of a DJ for your event. The cost is $450 for a five-hour event. Should you need recommendations on where to go for decorations, simply ask our Function Manager, we would be happy to point you in the right direction!

Please be advised that organisers are financially responsible for any damage, theft, breakage or vandalism sustained to the function room or venue premises by guests, invitees or other persons attending the function. Should any extra cleaning be required to return the premise to a satisfactory standard, this will be charged to the client. The venue does not accept responsibility for damage or loss of merchandise left at the venue prior to, during, or after the function. It is recommended that all client goods be removed from the venue immediately after the function. In the event of fire, flood damage, industrial dispute or any other unforeseen circumstance that does not enable the event to proceed, the venue and management team will not be held responsible.
