Introducing the largest indoor space within ‘The Meadows’ venue, our Temlee Main Room.
Our Temlee Dining and Events Room is a highly versatile space, that can cater for a wide range of set-up configurations and event styles.
Over its many years in operation its hosted:
Student Graduations, Gala Dinners, Fundraising Luncheons, Annual Balls, Fairs, Memorial Services and Presentation Nights
A light, bright and airy room, its high ceiling and modern lighting, creates a sense of space and openness. While its floor to ceiling windows offer sensational views of the Melbourne City skyline and race track below, especially at twilight. It has it’s own private bar and direct access to The Meadows main kitchen – making it perfect for fully catered events.
Should you be requiring a venue space with full Audio Visual and Sound capabilities, to support multi-media presentations, this room is ideal. It offers a completely integrated audio visual system, projection screens and monitors. Access to our in-house range of equipment is included with hire.
The space can accommodate up for 300 standing and 200 seated guests. It can also be expanded by it’s two adjoining rooms, Temlee East and Temlee West, increasing its capacity and functionality.
Access to the room is via a grand staircase entrance way and is also serviced by a lift for guests who may have mobility issues. Luxurious bathroom amenities are also located on the same floor and there is access to outdoor grandstand seating and a lower terrace section.

As part of a space hire you can choose to add a Food and Beverage Catering Package prepared on-site.
Our Catering Packages have been specifically crafted to suit the event styles we host. Be it a Working Breakfast, BBQ Luncheon on The Deck, Cocktail Party, Milestone Celebration, Product Launch, Conference, Memorial Service, Fundraiser or Gala Dinner our versatility allows for flexibility in meeting your catering requirements.

FAQ
Q: Do you cater for special dietary requirements?
A: Yes. We can prepare and provide food to suit special dietary requirements (Eg. Vegetarian, Gluten
Free, Halal). 72 hours notice needs to be given for our in-house catering team to offer options and
accommodate your request.
Q: Can I provide a cake for my special occasion or event?
A: Yes. We can assist with storing and serving your cake. A $2 per head cakeage fee applies to cover
napkins, plates and service. Please note no other food or beverages may be brought into the venue.
Q: Is there a minimum number of guests required to hire a space?
A: For some spaces and events styles there needs to be a minimum number. We’re flexible with
numbers, however please keep in mind that our larger rooms are better suited to more guests to
create atmosphere. Generally, 20 is a minimum guest number for all spaces, except the boardroom.
Q: Can I increase the volume of food or number of selections in a catering or beverage package?
A: Yes. Cost increases will be incurred per guest.
Q: Do you require a deposit?
A: Yes. To secure your space hire a non-refundable deposit will need to be made.
This is usually the space hire cost.
Q: Can I hire a space and not purchase a catering package?
A: Yes. We welcome space hire in this manner and it frequently occurs. However, please note you will
not be able to self cater your event and bring food or beverages into the venue.
Q. Do you supply parking?
A: Yes, we have the ability to park in excess of 500 vehicles on site. Parking is complementary with
venue hire.
NB: Some space hires may require a security to be present based on the event
style. This is an additional fee that needs to be paid as part of a space hire.
You will be advised of any security requirements upon receipt of a hire estimate.
