About The Tap on the Line, Kew

The Tap on the Line, Kew is a Tagvenue Partner. This business has registered with Tagvenue and agreed to our venue partner standards.

The Tap on the Line, Kew is a station pub built around an airy glass‑roofed atrium and a cobbled terrace, combining indoor dining under a skylight with sheltered outdoor tables.

Venue highlights: The venue maintains a clear separation between a lively main bar and an indoor atrium dining area, allowing hosts to choose a bar-led or seated dining layout. The in-house catering serves British dishes and real ales suitable for plated meals or sharing boards. The property includes an accessible parking bay and arrangements for additional off-site parking during hires.

Best for: Casual drinks receptions, sit-down private dinners and ale-focused tastings suit the pub's layout and menu.

Location: Station Approach sits beside Kew Gardens Station and provides direct Underground and Overground links, placing the pub within a compact cluster of cafés and green spaces that guests can use before or after an event.

What guests say: Trackside views provide a distinctive backdrop for private hires. Service is welcoming and responsive during busy periods, and the Kew garden‑themed decor runs consistently through the interior.
