About Carasau Ristorante
My name is Vincenzo Porcu, like my grandfather before me, who ran two restaurants in Sardinia. I’m from Sinnai, a mountain town in Cagliari, and I’ve been in the restaurant business since I was 14.
I first thought about visiting America at 22, and after many trips to New York, a 2005 vacation to Los Angeles convinced me to stay. LA reminds me of Sardinia in its own way, and after working with the Drago family - four Sicilian brothers with several restaurants here - I opened my own: Carasau Sardinian Restaurant in Culver City.
