Come play bocce at our Bavarian-inspired bier hall with house-made sausages and other authentic eats, 24 drafts, and a vast selection of European/Northwest beer and spirits.

Each space must be rented for a minimum of 2 hours.
All events are subject to a 20% Service Charge retained by the restaurant and a 3% Administrative Fee.
Unlimited Bocce games can be added to your party reservation for $60/hour per court. We also have corn toss available to play on the courts!
In the event that the food and beverage minimums are not met, the remaining balance will be charged as a room rental charge. We are happy to run separate tabs on credit cards for your party. All tabs will count towards the event space minimums.

Guests under 18 are not allowed after 10:00 pm
Host rules
The earliest we are able to open would be 1:00 p.m. on weekdays. Not able to open early on Saturdays or Sundays.
Feel free to bring in balloons but make sure they are securely tied or anchored. You may hang up decorations, but please do not damage the walls! And no confetti! We have worked with many party planning and decorating vendors and are happy to recommend some for your event.
Minors are welcome in our front dining room and on our bocce courts until 10 pm each night, space allowing.
For a small corkage fee or outside food charge, you are welcome to bring in outside wine or outside desserts for your event or celebration.
About Rhein Haus Seattle
Opened in February of 2013, Rhein Haus (formerly Von Trapp’s) is Capitol Hill’s very own 10,000-square-foot slice of Bavaria.
Owners Deming Maclise and James Weimann filled the renovated 1940s candy factory with burly bier hall antiques from across Europe to create a genuine feel and an outstanding space.
Authentic Bavarian fare—house-made sausages and pretzels—are accompanied by 24 drafts featuring both European and Northwestern beers.
In addition to the main dining room, an 80-seat bier hall, 53 bar seats, an intimate fire den, and two mezzanines encircle the five indoor bocce ball courts. An outdoor biergarten offers sunny seating, a fire pit, and an additional bocce court, as well as another bar.
