About this space

Local 138 Bar is a small neighbourhood bar defined by cosy booth seating and modest modern decor that produces an intimate, relaxed setting.

Design: The interior pairs dark wood panelling and exposed beams with low pendant lights and a compact mezzanine level. The colour palette centres on deep greens and warm neutrals, creating low-lit, intimate sightlines.

Features: A fully stocked bar serves drinks from a central counter. A built-in PA system and speakers support playlists or a brought DJ, and a wall-mounted TV can display video. The space includes Wi‑Fi and air conditioning and operates under a noise restriction policy.

Ideal for: Small groups seeking an informal, conversational gathering that mixes seated and standing socialising in a relaxed, low-key setting.

What sets it apart: A step-free guest entrance and wheelchair-accessible layout that ease arrival and movement through the venue.

What guests say: The space is cosy and relaxed and is known for a popular, generous happy hour that attracts regular local trade.
