Private Room and Mezzanine at Folly NYC
About this space
Private Room and Mezzanine is a semi-private lounge in Folly NYC that pairs a compact main floor with an elevated mezzanine, creating a vertically layered, secluded event area.
Design: Exposed brick walls, dark-stained floorboards and a barrel-vaulted ceiling create a narrow, inward-facing interior framed by heavy drapery and low, warm lighting.
Features: A PA system and house speakers support DJ sets or playlists, and outside DJs are permitted. Wi-Fi and air conditioning are provided. Natural light reaches the main floor during daytime service.
Ideal for: Small groups seeking a music-led, cocktail-style standing reception or a compact, social gathering across two levels.
What sets it apart: A built-in photo booth provides an on-site way for guests to take and collect prints during events.
What guests say: The space delivers strong cocktail service, attentive bar staff and a darker, intimate ambience that complements lively, drink-focused evenings.
