The Salon Rouge is a Lounge in Madame X with a crimson, bordello-style interior and an intimate living-room layout.
Design: Exposed brick walls, drapery and mirrored panels create a vintage salon look. Low-level lamps and layered reflections produce subdued, moody lighting throughout the space.

- You must be 21+ and have a valid photo ID for entry (not a photo or copy). This includes government, state or military ID, or passport.
- If you’d like your event to include other entertainment, there is a small stage area available, along with wireless microphones and a projector and screen for films or presentations. We also have an incredible Little Black Book of NYC talent if you're seeking to book anything additional!
- Although we do not have a kitchen, we have no objection to parties bringing in their own food. We are happy to make recommendations, or we can organize it for you for a small additional fee.
- No outside liquor is allowed.

Yes, hosts are welcome to cover the bar spend minimum by hosting an open bar for guests if they prefer.
No. Although the space is private to the group, it is not officially separated by walls or doors, so private party spaces cannot host their own music unless no one else books the other half of the private party floor. The venue's DJs play across the venue on Friday and Saturday nights and accept song, genre and artist requests, especially from party hosts.
