Very poor communication

My experience with La Victoria NYC was absolutely terrible from start to finish. I booked this venue 2 weeks in advance for my 21st birthday, paid my deposit, confirmed every detail, and had guests flying in from out of state. Just 3 days before the event, the venue suddenly tried to add new fees and conditions that were never included in the original agreement which is 100% ILLEGAL. When I raised valid concerns, the communication became dismissive and unprofessional. They showed no empathy, no accountability, and no respect for my time or investment. To make matters worse, some of the comments made by Robert during our conversations were extremely inappropriate and made me feel profiled and unwelcome. No professional venue should operate this way. Their lack of transparency, poor communication, and disrespectful behavior are completely unacceptable. I strongly recommend that anyone planning an event stay far away from La Victoria NYC. There are many venues in New York that treat their clients with integrity, respect, and professionalism — this is not one of them.
