About this space

Non-Private Bar is a Bar in Josie Woods Pub and its defining quality is a compact, communal basement layout that mixes long tables and bar seating for an informal, social setting.

Design: Exposed brick, wood-topped tables and mismatched chairs give the space an unpolished, practical character. Low ceilings and warm, low-level lighting keep the room compact and focused on social interaction.

Features: A full-length service bar supplies food and drinks and the space includes pool tables and a darts area. The space includes a PA system, speakers and Wi‑Fi to support music and announcements. Step-free guest entrance and wheelchair access are provided.

Ideal for: Groups of friends or casual social groups seeking a relaxed, standing-or-seated gathering in an informal, lively setting.

What sets it apart: A bank of HD screens and a jukebox concentrate broadcast and music entertainment in the space.

What guests say: The space has a lively, dive-bar basement character and attentive, proactive staff; a busy, social atmosphere is a consistent feature.

The team were so easy going and flexible with us! Prices were super reasonable and our team enjoyed the time.

Nothing to really name here. The only thing I would say is that we ordered several of the appetizer platters and I noticed a ton of the chicken wings didn't get eaten and I think it's just because they were a little messier to eat while standing around chatting with colleagues so would have been better to have chicken fingers or something more "finger food" like the rest of the platter.
