Hudson Mainstage is a black-box theatre inside Hudson Theatres, notable for a flexible, close-up performance layout that keeps audiences near the stage.
Design: The space is a compact black-box framed by exposed red-brick side walls, a black-painted stage floor and a low grid of overhead stage lighting, producing an intimate, focused visual environment.
Features: The Mainstage has fixed, tiered auditorium seating facing an open performance area. The space provides a house PA system and speakers, on-site Wi‑Fi, and air conditioning. The room permits outside music and DJs and includes step-free guest access and accessible toilets.
Ideal for: The Mainstage suits small, performance-focused groups presenting seated, technically supported evenings that rely on close audience engagement.
What sets it apart: The Mainstage is configured and equipped for professional live streaming, allowing productions to broadcast performances directly from the space.
What guests say: The seating is comfortable and generously spaced. The sound and lighting are effective for live productions.
