About this space

The River Room is a Function Room in iO Theater, a semi-private area placed alongside the venue's performance spaces and bar.

Design: The River Room shows a warehouse-style interior with high ceilings, painted brick and a large patterned feature wall. Wooden dining tables and black chairs sit beneath industrial pendant lighting and tall windows.

Features: Freestanding wooden tables and chairs can be arranged for dining or cleared to create an open floor. The room provides air conditioning and venue Wi‑Fi, a designated dance floor, step-free guest entrance and accessible toilets. The room is subject to a noise restriction.

Ideal for: Creative teams and social groups looking for a relaxed, flexible space for seated dinners or standing receptions.

What sets it apart: A built-in PA system and permission to bring an external DJ make the room suitable for amplified music and live performance programming.

What guests say: The space has a relaxed, welcoming vibe that supports casual socialising.
