About this space

The Dayton is a theatre space in iO Theater, a compact black-box performance room defined by close proximity between audience and stage.

Design: The Dayton presents a low-slung, warehouse-style black-box interior with an exposed ceiling and a painted stage wall. The room has movable cabaret tables and simple seating arranged on a wooden floor under coloured stage lighting.

Features: The Dayton includes a small raised stage with curtain, a house lighting rig and PA speakers, flexible seating that can be rearranged, and permission for external music or a brought-in DJ. The room provides Wi-Fi, air conditioning, step-free entry and accessible toilets.
