With the prestige of a private members club, Winchester house boasts exclusive private gardens, perfect for weddings, corporate events and summer parties. Here guests can enjoy welcome drinks before moving inside for a seated dinner, or relax with an informal barbecue as the sun goes down.

The venue is comprised of three spaces, a reception room, ballroom and library. Each is equipped with all the production and lighting you’ll need to create your perfect event, and can be used together for larger events. Winchester House can accommodate up to 100 guests for a seated dinner and 150 for a standing reception.

About Winchester House

The Winchester House was built in the early part of the 17th Century and still benefits from one of the most enviable scenic river views in London.

Founded in 1892, the Winchester House Club continues to prove itself as a popular and unique venue of choice for both its members and those seeking a perfect setting for their own private events or special occasions. The Club regularly hosts wedding receptions, corporate meetings and private parties for non-members.

Oliver Cromwell billeted his officers at Winchester House. According to legend a mulberry tree was planted in the garden during this time, and the tree stands to this day, still bearing fruit.
